PratikaGroup and Live Better: We Are One
From unused leathers to new opportunities
The Association recovers unused leathers — often of the highest quality — sourced from tanneries, transforming them into new creations. But the true value of this initiative is human: the processing of materials takes place inside a workshop and involves young people with disabilities or engaged in rehabilitation programmes, offering them skills, independence and new perspectives. Through hands-on work and training, the association gives them concrete tools to develop autonomy, competence and confidence.
The value of people
Leading the association is Elena Viscusi, president of Live Better APS, who follows every phase of the project and each participant’s journey with care and dedication. Her work demonstrates how craftsmanship, when it meets a strong social vision, can become a genuine driver of personal and collective growth.
PratikaGroup’s contribution
Within this project, PratikaGroup supports the association by providing machinery on free loan. This is a concrete and ongoing commitment: beyond supplying the equipment, the company also ensures support in its management and maintenance, so that the workshop can operate efficiently and continuously over time.
Where to meet Live Better APS
Those wishing to learn more about this initiative and the work carried out by Elena Viscusi will have the opportunity to meet the association from 13 to 15 March at the “Fa’ la cosa giusta” fair, at Milano Rho.
📍 Hall 20 – Stand C26
